    Many of his portrait photographs feature subjects whose gaze is not directed at the camera, and they often seem as if their soul has drifted away, giving a sense of emptiness or loss. In the photos above, due to differences in focal length, the images don’t appear sharply defined but instead convey a somewhat ambiguous, ethereal atmosphere.




    The next photo is a landscape. There weren’t many landscape photos like this one, but the tones in this image are soft, evoking an early morning atmosphere. The color are beautiful, and I think  contrast between the reds and blues is very effective. I also like how the tree appear black, forming striking silhouettes.


I found this photo very interesting because of composition, color, and technique. I think the photographer maybe used double exposure to take this photo. Or, maybe it was made in Photoshop by using mask and soft brush to make the ink a little transparent, so everything looks natural in one photo. The red and green, which are opposite color, make strong impression. The yellow leaves from top make calm feeling. This photo is very interesting to me.

  He is a photographer who has garnered attention for his self-portrait photographs of his own mental health experiences and aims to visually share emotions that words cannot explain. I was actually attracted to his photographs when I saw them. I feel a sense of solitude in many of his works. I thought from his picture that his technique was good such as his use of shadows, light, and reflections. In the photo above, I think he fixed the camera with a tripod and shot at a slow shutter speed, the person was blurred, and as a result, I could not read the person clearly, which led to a sense of uneasiness. Next is this picture. This photo changed the way I think about portraiture. By putting the cracks over the face where people pay the most attention, we don't get as clear an image as with the photo I talked about before. Duane Michals / portrait inspiration

  He is an American photographer who uses multiple exposures in portrait photography to create beautiful worldviews. His series of works contain stories that capture our interest when we see them.  The image on the top left is one of the photos that inspired me. The photo itself is simple and easy to post-production. But there is something attractive about it. When I thought about what it was, I thought it was a way of directing the viewer's perspective. This photo gets smaller as you move towards the middle. Therefore, the viewer's perspective moves towards the center and focuses on the face in the center. I applied this to create a work. In this photo, the photos get smaller as you move to the bottom left, and the largest and smallest ones are colored, while the others are monochrome. Kathrin Linkersdorff - still life

            She was a former architect and by experience in Japan, she get the concept called "wabi-sabi". It is to find beauty in imperfection and transience, it is a concept even Japanese people like me have. About her works, what I understood is she dry flowers and take out water and make petals thin to show delicateness. The thing I thought is ink is actually color she take from flowers. I want to put delicateness in my works too.      In this photo, she does not use pigment ink, but the delicateness of the petals is very emphasized. By putting the flower in water, I felt the light is hitting the flower more evenly. I thought that by using strong light from the back, I want to emphasize the delicateness of petals and the beauty of the vein pattern of leaves.      Putting flower in water or drying them is simple things, but I think it is important to try and challenge.
